I am a painter who lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa.
In 2019 I graduated from Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town. I have had solo exhibitions at 99 On Loop, and a group show at Everard Read. In my final year at Michaelis I was co-awarded the Simon Gerson Award for Outstanding Body of Work.

I work in oil, from a studio in Woodstock. I find Cape Town an energising and inspiring place to work, but I am equally influenced by the routine of the studio and the stuff that accumulates in it — photographs I've taken, pages taken from books of other artists' work, images from wildlife magazines, screenshots from films and things found on the internet. I also find inspiration from my friends and I'm part of Joe Prussian, described by Ashraf Jamal as 'a collective in the most delinquent sense – there is no agreed upon premise, no equivalences in feeling or idea'.
